Woman’s voice becomes more attractive and urging for men when that woman is in a period of ovulation, claim the results of a research published in the new copy of New Scientist magazine.

“Sex hormones are in condition of changing the timbre of the voice during the different parts of the women’s period”, think the authors of the research. “In contrast to other mammals, the human misses obvious signals of setting in of the appropriate for fertilization period. This obviously is due to the hormonal changes in woman’s body during ovulation, because women taking oral contraception miss “this signal”.

The team of Canadian and American scientists is about to explore how actually this mechanism works in situations of the every day life – for example, during conversation in restaurant or even at the office. They suppose that men can simply be attracted by the voice of happily sounding woman more than that of on, who is not in period of ovulation.
