Migraine usually attacks women. From the nearly 30 million Americans that are suffering from the severe headaches, the women are three times more than the men.
Migraine is a chronic headache that appears periodically. Each time the pain is felt in the same place, in one or both hemispheres of the brain temples throb, often accompanied by nausea, sometimes with vomiting. Light and noise became unbearable.
Here is how you can indicate that you are having a migraine.
Aura
Some people, who are having a migraine often experience aura. So before you think that you are heading for the nirvana, consider that maybe in one hour you will be actually heading down another road, and a painful one. The aura can last from 5 minutes to one hour. But up to an hour after the aura vision the headaches will start. However, there are some people who se the aura but skip the headaches.
If you are constantly tired, without goodnight rest you are either very busy or have some sleep deprivation problem, or you are suffering from migraine. Studies have discovered that there is a link between lack of restful sleep and the intensity and frequency of the headaches. This non-sleeping pattern can turn into vicious cycle that will make you sleep less and have lots of headaches, which will again make you sleep less and etc…
