Gemma Jones

Doctors repeatedly told Gemma that her illness was not serious

28-year-old young mother, Gemma Jones died of heart disease after doctors repeatedly told her she had just heartburn, although she complained of severe pain in the chest, report from Daily Mail.
Gemma suffered from terrible pain in the arms, shoulders, abdomen and chest for months before she died at home.
She visited different doctors about her symptoms – one of whom only three days before her death. However, every time the doctors misdiagnosed her. The tragedy here is that a simple ECG test could save the live of Gemma. This would indicate that she did not suffer from stomach problems but had a potentially fatal inflammation of the heart caused by a virus.
Two days ago Gemma’s fiance Philip finally condemned doctors that have not paid attention to the young mother. Philip has had to endure the agony to find his beloved lying half dead in her bed at home.
Gemma’s first complaints began in October 2010. Then the doctors made her electrocardiogram, but the results were normal. But in 2011 she returned to the doctors, telling them that she feels tremendous pressure in the chest. But rather than repeating the ECG test, doctors sent Gemma home, telling her that she just has heartburn.
Paramedic Nicholas Kirk, who was the first to treat Gemma when she passed out at her home, told at the hearing that he was surprised how the problem was not diagnosed earlier.
