How to feed your child healthy?

Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day for children. So why feed your child cereals that are full of sugar and salt? Or worse, you don’t feed them at all because you are too busy or your child is running out the door to catch the bus. There is absolutely no reason for them to miss breakfast. Especially when a full stomach helps concentration which will translate into better grades. Who doesn’t want to see better grades?

Oatmeal (porridge)
Probably one of the best and easiest meals to cook moms! Most kids will shutter at the thought of having to eat oatmeal for breakfast, don’t worry we have your back! Kids like sweet things right? So why not sweeten the oatmeal up with skim milk (or regular milk) for add flavor, instead of water. Also, oatmeal can be topped. You can top it with strawberries, peaches, or bananas. Whatever you want! Just imagine your kid seeing some strawberry slices in their oatmeal!

You can top it with any type of fruit you want and maybe even add some nuts. Why not take a few bowls out and let her top it herself (you cut the ingredients up). You’ll see what she prefers and then you can go from there.

A favorite of many people you can make this little treat very tasty. Yogurt can be topped with many types of fruit, or you can just buy prepacked yogurts of various flavors. Totally up to you and your child. I recommend orange juice, but any juice will do. Orange juice is just full

Toast
This isn’t really an alternative breakfast but toast isn’t eaten too much now-a-days. So I suggest toast and orange juice to many families. It’s simple, tasty, and can be on-the-go if you’re a busy person. You can also try different jams for your toast, or butter if you want it really tasty!
